The funds raised by this tournament help the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana keep its doors open to more than 1,500 families every year, providing a supportive home-away-from home for families with children who are being treated at area hospitals, primarily Riley Hospital for Children.

More than 350 people turned out for A Taste of Tuscany, Ronald McDonald Houses’ annual fundraiser in downtown Indianapolis. The event, held Nov. 5 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, drew such notables as former Indianapolis 500 race car driver Scott Goodyear; Versus IndyCar Series announcer Bob Jenkins; and Angelo Pizzo, American screenwriter and producer best known for “Hoosiers” and “Rudy.
