2008 CHRISTMAS GIFT & HOBBY SHOW

Thank you again for assisting us with this fund raising/community outreach activity. Please take time to enjoy the Show, and get a jump-start on your holiday shopping.

Use the information below to help you during your shift.

LOCATION
Indiana State Fairgrounds, West Pavilion

DONATION HOUSE
The first shift of each day will retrieve the donation house and cash box from the Office in the northeast corner of the building. The last shift of each day will return the donation house and the cash box to the Office. If your shift is over but no one is there to relieve you, please take both the donation house and the cash box to the office. If you arrive to find no cash box or donation house at the booth, please retrieve it from the Office.

COAT AND PACKAGE CHECK
This is the same as last year. The Coat Check service is free to the Gift & Hobby Show guests. (We are receiving $ from HSI Productions for our services.) Please encourage each guest to make a $1 per coat and $1 per package donation to the House. The money should be taken at the point of checking-in the coat and/or package, not when guests are returning to pick items up. The ticket #'s have two parts: one part goes to the guest and the other goes with the coat or package. If guests are checking a coat and a package, please use an additional tag for each item. Simply use tape or the stapler to attach the tag to the package. Once a guest has picked up a coat/package, please put the used tag(s) in the container under the table. This will allow us to keep track of how many people use this "free" service. Extra supplies (i.e.: hangers, ticket #'s, etc.) are under the tables. Please try to keep the coats and packages in numerical order.

INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION
Feel free to distribute information at the booth to anyone checking in a coat or package. However, please do not freely distribute information to everyone at the Show. We simply don't have enough materials to give to everyone.
